Made for more…fixing your gaze, reflecting your Saviour!                                 A half day conference for any women in the church.

Join with other women from Myton Church as we explore the beauty of God’s character and how we are to imitate that in our own lives. Together we will think about what it is to gaze upon the glory of the Lord and then encourage one another in how to imitate that true beauty we are made for in our daily lives.

Our guest speaker is Elinor Magowan. She currently lives in Reading with her husband David. Both are involved in Carey Baptist Church, where David is one of the pastors. They have two twenty-something daughters. Elinor has worked in various contexts – as a solicitor, teaching English to asylum seekers in Teeside, as a staffworker with UCCF, supporting UFM mission partners and currently on the staff of FIEC specifically supporting ministry wives. In the various churches she has been involved in over the years she’s also served in different aspects of children’s work, pastoral work and women’s programmes.

We are using the church centre at St Peter’s Church, Wellesbourne – hopefully far enough from home for most of us to feel like it’s a ‘mini-escape’ but not so far that the travelling becomes onerous! As always there will be copious amounts of food and drink to help the relaxation: coffee and Danish on arrival, homemade cake as part of a sandwich lunch.

This is open to any woman who attends Myton Church. Babies welcome but beyond that it’s a ‘grown up’ event!
