Ministry Trainee Programme 2019-2020

We are currently looking to recruit participants for our 2019-2020 trainee programme.

This is a training initiative which has three main aims:

Discipleship: Through the model of ‘life on life’ relationships we want participants to grow in their knowledge and love of God (calling), mature in their gifting (competence) and develop in Christ-likeness (character).

Training in Ministry: The programme is a focused opportunity to gain experience and training in Christian ministry within the context of the community of the local Church. Working closely with the staff team and other mature believers our commitment is to guide, help and equip the trainee in a wide range of activities. The programme will seek to develop participants in areas where they are already demonstrating gifting and encourage them to take risks in trying new things. All this will take place within the context of getting a broad experience of church ministry.

Future investment: Our hope is that this will be one phase of a lifetime of service for those taking part. We want it to be an investment that blesses the church worldwide as we send out those who have been Trainees into workplaces and mission.

Who can be a Trainee?
The programme is open to Christians who wish to spend a year being very intentional about their growth and development. This applies whether they are just leaving school or graduating from Higher Education, in employment but able to reduce their hours or take a complete break for a year or are transitioning into retirement.

The starting date for the next programme will be September 1st, 2019.
