Myton Church in Warwick is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic leader to work full time to coordinate the children’s and youth work and also develop the growing community work. This is a great prospect for a gifted leader with previous experience in both youth ministry and community outreach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team would be vital in helping the church make positive changes in areas of challenge.

The main responsibilities are to ensure that:

  1. the children’s and youth work is well led and developed; leaders are recruited, equipped and trained; and there is adequate and appropriate communication concerning the youth work.
  2. children and youth outside the church are reached with the good news of Jesus; relationships with the community are maintained and further developed; and there is adequate and appropriate communication concerning the community work.

Myton Church is a friendly, active, non-denominational fellowship of evangelical Christians. Our vision is to be a church that glorifies God by being bowed down in loving devotion, built up for acts of service, and sent out as full-time Christian workers. We are made up of people of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, drawn from Warwick and Leamington and the surrounding area. Remuneration of £28,000 – £31,000 will include pension contributions. There is an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be a committed evangelical Christian. Consideration would be given for a job-share with two part-time roles.
